Boron nitride is deposited on an electrodeposited layer 3 to the outermost surface layer for this grindstone by means of a PVD process, and the electrodeposited layer 3 inclusive of these CBN abrasive grains 2 is coated with this boron nitride. With this constitution, these CBN abrasive grains 2 are wrapped inside in good wettability, whereby the holding capacity is reinforced and, what is more, abrasive resistance is improvable.
